- 225 g unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 100 g granulated sugar
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and prepare three baking trays with parchment paper.
- Sift flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking soda into a bowl and set aside.
- Cream butter and sugars with a mixer for 3–4 minutes until light and fluffy.
- Mix in the egg and vanilla until combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients on low speed, mixing until just incorporated.
- Scoop about 2 tablespoons (40g) of dough per cookie, roll into balls, and coat generously in granulated sugar.
