CHOCOLATE CAKE RECIPES

Introduction:

This rich and decadent chocolate cake is perfect for any occasion. The moist cake layers combined with creamy chocolate frosting will have everyone coming back for seconds. It’s a classic dessert that never disappoints!

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 3/4 cups granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup boiling water

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Add the eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients and mix until smooth.
  4. Stir in the boiling water, the batter will be thin, but that’s okay.
  5. Pour the batter evenly into the prepared cake pans and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. Allow the cakes to cool in the pans for 10 minutes, then remove from the pans and cool completely on a wire rack.
  7. Once cooled, frost the cake with your favorite chocolate frosting and enjoy!
