- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 plastic King Cake baby (optional)
- Green, purple, and yellow colored sugars for decoration
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, granulated sugar, cinnamon, nuts, and raisins.
- Roll out one sheet of puff pastry into a 12-inch square on the prepared baking sheet.
- Spread the sugar and nut mixture evenly over the pastry, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges.
- If using, place the plastic King Cake baby somewhere in the filling.
- Brush the edges of the pastry with the beaten egg.

- Brush the top of the cake with the remaining beaten egg.
