- 2 tsp baking powder
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- ½ cup confectioners' sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 2 cups white sugar
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- ½ tsp salt
Combine sugar, cocoa, and oil in a bowl.
Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla.
In another bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
Gradually stir into the cocoa mixture until well blended.
Cover and refrigerate for 4+ hours
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Roll chilled dough into 1-inch balls, coat with confectioners’ sugar, and place 1 inch apart on parchment-lined cookie sheets.
Bake for 10–12 minutes.
Let cookies cool briefly on sheets before transferring to racks.
