Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease two 9-inch round cake pans.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Add the milk, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.
- Fold in the crushed cookies and divide the batter evenly between the prepared cake pans.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow the cakes to cool completely before frosting.
- To make the frosting, beat the butter until creamy. Gradually add the powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and milk until smooth and creamy.
