BANANA NUT CAKE RECIPE

Introduction:

Ingredients:

  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch round cake pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the mashed bananas, melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  3. Add the flour, baking soda, and salt to the banana mixture. Mix until just combined.
  4. Stir in the chopped walnuts until evenly distributed in the batter.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
