Ingredients:
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 packages of chocolate wafer cookies
- 1/4 cup chocolate shavings, for garnish
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
- Gradually fold in the powdered sugar and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Spread a thin layer of the whipped cream on the bottom of a 9×9 inch square baking dish.
- Place a layer of chocolate wafer cookies on top of the whipped cream, breaking them to fit if necessary.
- Continue layering the whipped cream and chocolate wafer cookies, ending with a layer of whipped cream on top.
- Sprinkle the chocolate shavings over the top of the cake for garnish.
- Cover the cake with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight, to allow the flavors to meld together.
- Slice and serve cold.
