  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 3/4 cups granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 package Oreo cookies
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract


  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C) and grease two 9-inch round cake pans.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, stir together flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Add milk, oil, eggs, and vanilla to flour mixture and mix until well combined.
  4. Stir in boiling water until the batter is smooth.
  5. Pour batter evenly into prepared cake pans and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  6. Let cakes cool in pans for 10 minutes, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely.
  7. Crush Oreo cookies in a ziplock bag using a rolling pin.
  8. In a mixing bowl, whip heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla until stiff peaks form.
  9. Gently fold crushed Oreo cookies into whipped cream.
  10. Spread cookies and cream mixture between cake layers and on top of the cake.
  11. Refrigerate cake for at least 1 hour before serving.
